Mel is into colour and pattern. She is a keen painter and also very skilled at drawing. Her loose free style that has a geometric base is engaging and lively. Art is a big part of her life. Often inspired by her local experience, her images tell of her life at work, her love of her home town, Kaiapoi, or her interest in other artists work.
