Andrea Monds

Andrea works mainly with collage, combining images of things that are important to her. Her wallpaper designs include photos of her beloved soft toy Snowy and family members. These are combined with elements from the natural world, creating a kaleidoscope-like effect. 

Andrea enjoys the opportunity to express herself through her art, and loves the big space The White Room provides as this enables her to move around how she likes.  

She has been involved in numerous exhibitions, including being selected for the IHC Art Awards in 2020 and 2021, featured in the Refinery Art Gallery’s RAW22 exhibition in Nelson, and in Eastside Gallery’s Our Life II exhibition in Christchurch. Her solo exhibition Andrea’s Very Best Special Expo took place at Art Hole in 2023.
