Peter Chou

Peter’s photographic memory and meticulous craftsmanship combine in his exquisite drawings of city scenes. Having travelled with his parents across Asia, Oceania, and Europe, his designs often feature cities he has visited. Peter’s works are filled with delightful details of urban life, providing the viewer with endless new discoveries.  

He works freehand with felt pen, working directly without preliminary sketches. Peter finds The White Room to be a nice big space to work on his art, though he also develops pieces at home.  

Peter’s work has been exhibited widely, including via his solo exhibition The Mind, The Gaze And The Cities at Pūmanawa Gallery in 2023.
