Kirby Barton

Kirby uses collage and paint to capture the things in her world that interest her. She finds joy in creating works featuring animals, particularly cats.

Sharing her art with her family is important to her, though Kirby aspires to share her art with a wider audience. Regarding The White Room, she enjoys having a large space for her large ideas to thrive, and says “all the people” is what she likes about it.

Kirby’s works have been on show at The White Room’s Super Cheap Art Show at Arthole (2023) and the Christchurch Art Show (2024).
