Caz has been intrigued by creative exploration since she can remember. She finds it hard to settle on one medium and enjoys creating eclectic mixed media. Her favourite medium is possibly Indian ink, describing it as having a mind of its own, and that is feels like a collaboration between her and the material.
Caz has a Degree in Psychology, a Diploma in Interactive Design, a Certificate in Dance/Movement Therapy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts Therapy, and she is currently studying towards a Master of Clinical Arts Therapy. She was inspired to formally study art as a tool for wellbeing when in a previous role working with people with traumatic injuries she saw the impact it made creating visual tools for their recovery journeys.
Working with artists at The White Room for the past three years, Caz is always inspired by them and the work they do, “Our artists share a myriad of expressive projects; painting, pastel, collage, textiles, poetry, performance. It is a real privilege to see them thrive and connect with the world around them through free expression. I love going on the journey learning alongside them and I am very excited about the things The White Room has ahead!”
